About TCM
Home

Articles in TCM are chosen to relate the history of this area in an interesting,
easy to read manner, or as a record of the lives of area people in earlier
days, or because they are fun to read stories usually related to the past
times of the Tombigbee River area. Each issue of TCM is designed to
make the reader feel good about himself, this area, the South and America.
Tombigbee is a happy, easy reading magazine and our love of life is obvious
in every issue.
If you enjoy fun reading we suggest you give us a try. People say TCM is
habit forming, and that if you read one issue you are hooked for life!

We hope you continue and browse the other pages of our web site.
We try not to use fiction in TCM. We prefer submissions to be memories
 of days past.

We welcome submissions to Tombigbee Country, but we do not pay our writers.

Maybe you have a story that you would like to see published in TCM. Write it
out and send it to Bo Webster. Everybody else does. It is what makes the magazine great.
We would like to hear from you also. You may submit the article as an e-mail to
tombigbeecountrymagazine@yahoo.com or in written form to TCM, P.O. Box 621,
Gu-Win, AL 35563. Our phone number is 205-412-1272.
We accept hand written or typed stories or articles.
We prefer that you email the articles to us if at all possible.

Tombigbee Country Magazine is a regional nostalgia-related, monthly
magazine which features human interest articles concerning the people and
places of the Northeast Mississippi and Northwest Alabama area surrounding
the Tombigbee River (Tenn-Tom Waterway) We enjoy ghost stories, old Southern
legends and we are proud of Southern History, we are proud to be from Dixie and
in our stories of the War For Southern Independence we only print accounts of the
battles that the South won. We have stories about flying horses, hoop snakes and yes
singing frogs too!
We are a Christian magazine. Many of our writers are preachers. We do not preach
sermons but we have a lot of stories that encourage moral behavior. We take pride in being
a "feel good" publication. We encourage our readers to be proud of themselves. We hope
that anything we print doesn't offend anyone in anyway.  We are just trying to bring you
great stories that we hope all of our readers will enjoy. If we offend you in anyway we apologize.
